We delivered our first machine in October 1982 to Helsinki-Vantaa airport. Since then Vammas snow removal vehicles have revolutionized the method by which snow removal is accomplished on runways and taxiways at major airports throughout the world. 

Vammas snow removal equipment was developed over several years through the joint efforts of Vammas engineers and snow removal experts from numerous Scandinavian airports, resulting in a state of the art, high performance, purpose built, snow clearing system. 

In almost 40 years of our history, Vammas vehicles have proven their reliability in all types of winter weather conditions. The reliability of Vammas snow removal equipment is clearing runways within predictable minimal time frames has resulted in aircraft arrival rate increases and substantial savings in delay costs to the airlines, as well as a reduction in operating, maintenance and human resource costs for airport operators.
